Leslie provides legal advice on business and estate planning and acts as a fiduciary consultant.
She has practiced law for nearly 4 decades, in private practice as a litigator, and then, for
several financial institutions, including ten years as a Chief Fiduciary Officer. She returned to
private practice in 2021.
Her JD is from the UH Law Center where she also taught classes as an Adjunct Professor for 12
years. She is an ACTEC Fellow; a past Chair of the Houston Bar Association Probate Trust and Estate
Section; a past President of both of Houston’s NAEPC Chapters – Houston Estate and Financial Forum
and the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council; a past Chair of the Texas Bankers Asso. (TBA)
Wealth Management and Trust Advisory Board; and still serves on TBA’s Education and
Intergovernmental Relations Committees.
Passionate about history and live theater, she is a devoted member of several book clubs. Leslie
has been writing and presenting continuing education materials for lawyers, bankers, CPAs, and CFPs
in Texas and across the country since 1988. A detailed list of more than 150 of those presentations
