DESCRIPTION:\n \n \n \n \n\n \nLars Gwartney, CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®, CAP®, AEP®\n \nBrian Easlon, CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®\n \n \n \n \n \nMARSHALL BARTLETT\n Sr. Portfolio Manager - Argent Trust\n \nBased in Nashville, TN\n \nMarshall became a Senior Portfolio Manager at Argent Trust in 2018 when Independence Trust merged with Argent.  As Chief Investment Officer at Independence, he oversaw portfolio management, trading, and other investment functions for the firm's clients, including individuals, institutions, and cemetery funeral relationships.  These functions also included serving as lead manager for the firm's Dividend Growth Portfolio.  Marshall contineus to manage this strategy at Argent and is also a leading member of the Equity Strategy workgroup.\n \nPrior to joining Independence Trust Company, Marshall was a service manager for Aspect Communications, responsible for maintaining the company's premier client relationships and managing a team of fifteen employees.\n \nMarshall received his B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.  He received an MBA from the Massey School of Business at Belmont University.  He concentrated his studies in Finance while achieving his MBA, including classes on mutual fund analysis as well as stock and bond valutation.
